Clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast area was overcrowded with limited seating, making it hard to find a spot.

Location is super convenient, just a short walk to the Riverwalk. Check-in was a bit slow, and they charge for parking, which adds up fast. Breakfast has nice options like Texas-shaped waffles, but the seating area gets crowded. Had issues with room cleanliness; needed better attention to detail.

The breakfast has tons of choices and is actually enjoyable. The location is perfect for quick access to attractions while keeping you away from the chaos.
The cleanliness should definitely improve.

This hotel offers an amazing starting point for walking around San Antonio as it’s just a short walk to the famous Riverwalk, the historic Alamo, and many other attractions like the Briscoe Western Art Museum and Ripley's Believe It or Not, all within a kilometer; my spacious, bright room was clean and comfortable, making it a pleasure to return to after a day of exploration, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, but the elevators were a bit slow, and I found myself waiting longer than expected at times.

Great location near the Riverwalk. Comfortable beds and a decent breakfast with plenty of options. rooms weren't cleaned properly; I found hair and undisposed items from previous guests. The HVAC units were noisy, disrupting sleep, and the walls were thin, making it hard to ignore other guests. We booked a king but were offered a twin due to readiness issues, which was frustrating after a long trip. A mixed bag of experiences—could be much better if attention to detail improved, but the convenience is a plus.

The room was clean and comfortable, with a decent mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker available. Bed firmness was just right for a restful night's sleep. Temperature control worked well, keeping the room cozy. noise from the BBQ place across the highway was disruptive late at night. Bathrooms lacked a towel rack near the shower, making it inconvenient. Bright Denny's sign outside the window was distracting. Although breakfast had a wonderful variety, the staff’s management could be better organized. A well-maintained space with potential for improvement on customer service and noise control.

Rudy in the breakfast room stands out as an exceptional employee. He genuinely cares about guests and goes above and beyond. Breakfast options are sufficient, providing something for everyone. the room left much to be desired. We found uncleaned items upon arrival, and housekeeping services were nonexistent. This resulted in frequent trips downstairs for essentials. While the location offered convenience, the overall condition of the hotel was disappointing. Dirty carpets, inconsistent water pressure, and lack of basic amenities plagued our stay. Paying for parking in a vandalized lot felt unjustified. With a mix of dedicated staff like Rudy and significant shortcomings, it’s clear improvements are needed.

I was super disappointed. The room was nothing like what I booked, just a king bed and a sofa bed for 6 people. Check-in took forever, and the ice machine was broken. On the bright side, the pool was fun for the kids and the staff were nice, but we had some real issues with cleanliness.

I had a rough time at this hotel. The room I booked wasn't available, so I got a tiny space instead. Plus, housekeeping ignored my requests, and the air conditioning failed during the heat. Definitely not worth the hassle!

Breakfast has lots of choices, perfect for every picky eater! The staff is super friendly and really helpful, making everything so easy.
It wasn't inexpensive, but the quality makes it worth it.

Friendly staff, friendly environment with attentive parking assistance and a comfortable bed that provided a good night's rest despite the aged linens.

Got energized with a free hot breakfast of Texas shaped waffles. Enjoyed a Spurs game at the AT&T Center. Convenient to downtown attractions but dramatically unsatisfied by the freezing pool and non-functional hot tub. My meal was accompanied by a barking dog; quite the breakfast companion! .

Great location, close to the Riverwalk and delicious breakfast options available. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean with good water pressure in the shower. Valet parking was convenient and the pool area was beautiful, especially at night.
Paying for parking was unexpected, and there were long waits at the front desk. Lack of communication from the staff and issues with the outdoor spa being out of order were disappointing.

So, my recent stay at La Quinta was a bit of a mixed bag. The good stuff first , I really appreciated the flat, screen TV in the room, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring San Antonio. The beds were quite comfy, and the breakfast spread in the morning was a nice touch. Being just a short walk from the Riverwalk was super convenient, too. Now, onto the not, so, great parts. The room felt a bit dated and could have used a deep cleaning. The shower pressure was seriously lacking, and the bathroom door was a bit wonky , had to get maintenance to fix that. Oh, and the free toiletries were more on the micro, sized side, which wasn't ideal. On top of that, there were some issues with housekeeping. I had to ask multiple times to get my room cleaned properly, which was a bit frustrating. And the parking fee felt a bit steep, especially since the hotel didn't quite give off a resort vibe. All in all, La Quinta has its perks but could definitely step up its game in terms of room maintenance and service.

Convenient location, walking distance to Alamodome and Riverwalk. Great hot breakfast, friendly kitchen staff, comfortable beds. Gated parking available.
Felt very lucky to have found it, no complaints whatsoever.

Breakfast offered a good variety, the pool was enjoyable, and the location was convenient for exploring the area.
The rooms felt outdated, the ice machines were not working, and there were issues with incorrect charges on guests' cards. Additionally, cleanliness in common areas and room upkeep could be improved, and elevator capacity limits were not clearly communicated, leading to guest inconveniences.

Our stay at this hotel was overall great. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help. The location couldn't have been better, with plenty of options close to the Riverwalk and other attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was amazing, with a wide selection of delicious food. We also appreciated the convenience of amenities such as the lounge and the attentive staff.
Breakfast arrangements were inconsistent, causing some confusion and inconvenience.

I chose La Quinta for its proximity to the San Antonio River Walk, and the customer service agents exceeded my expectations with their friendly and helpful assistance. The stylish full-service lobby bar also added to the enjoyment of our day with family and friends.
Issues with the coffee area.

stayed at la quinta and loved the room accommodations, color scheme of the hotel interior, roominess of lobby/breakfast area, and proximity to the riverwalk and shopping. the free breakfast buffet had actual scrambled eggs and yummy sausage, not just a hard boiled egg like most la quintas. the staff were friendly, and the nice young lady with pink hair even apologized and gave us toiletries to take home.
Nothing at all 😊

Good place to stay when you have a pet with you! The room had plenty of space and a nice shower. The pet was allowed. The location was great, within walking distance to the River Walk, the Alamo, and restaurants. Overall I highly recommend this hotel.
